He's got a lot of cute inflatable spider drones, and got curious on how a clunker version of one would look. He's a big tech nerd, being able to figure out how to get anything working again with the myriad of parts in the scrapyard he lives in. His optimism can get a little overbearing at first, but you have to be at least a little weird to live in a place that requires constant upkeep (and tons of sharp edges).
