So when I tried to buy some undead at the game store today, they were OUT, due to the release of the new undead stuff coming out in the next few weeks. I spent about an hour browsing before I suddenly spied THESE and remembered an army idea that had been brewing in my head for a while:

Brayherds, but using gnoll miniatures!

Okay, I know the Brayherds aren't exactly a supported army list these days, but they still have stats for core units and a few special toys, the ability to summon Chaos Monsters, and pretty much the only archers in the entire Chaos range. These miniatures are from the Frostgrave game, reasonably affordable (compared to some options), and I kind of have a thing for hyenas. They're adorably cute. ^o0^

The box makes 20 minis, with a variety of weapon options. With 4 sprues, you have plenty of choice! 8 bows, 4 crossbows, 4 greatswords, 4 great axes, 4 spears/glaives, 12 hand weapons (not including 8 arms equipped with daggers - 4 each left and right)! Basically, except for command minis, you can make an entire army with a bunch of these boxes, and i'm going to do just that! Eventually.
