Sketchbook 164: Nervous Cassie

Drew this a while back when I was in the mood to draw some more Dragon Tales fanart. With Cassie's shy demeanor, it allows me to try some different poses in terms of closed body language. I actually had this pose in mind to do for a while, it just took me some time to figure out who I was going to draw in it.
I had fun drawing this. even if it did take me a long time. I think I said it before in another picture, but I am really enjoying drawing the folds of leathery, scaly skin. Even though there's not much of it here. Might have to try adding more of the detail if there's a next one.
Of course, having the feet showing like that helped more than a bit in the enjoyment of the drawing ^^

You should check it out some time then. I don't know how it's going to be for someone without the nostalgia factor, but I still enjoy watching it from time to time :P
