Actually did lose that friend over the stupid debate I mentioned. Earlier I thought perhaps there might have been reconciliation but that's not an option apparently. It's a bit like... I feel admittedly down that it happened but at the same time, if calling off a friendship over something absolutely stupid (and no doubt they completely misunderstood what I was getting at, only heard what they wanted to hear) is how it's gonna be, then it probably wasn't a good friendship to begin with. Guess I was supposed to be the "kissin your ass" friend and as soon as I stepped out of line calling you out on bullshit, time to drop me like a bad habit. lol Awesome, your loss.

It's alright, I kind of figured that it might end up the way it did given their overreaction. But I'll be fine. I don't wish them ill will or anything, all I can hope for is that one day they grow up a little. (A little would go a long way in their case.)
I have pretty good friends still even with all that happening, they at least know me and have accepted me for who I am. That's really all I could ever ask for.

Yeah, not cool if they can't take a disagreement and work through it. If they were the controlling type then you're better off, but you should feel a bit down about it, that's good. I hope you don't have to run into them too much, or if you do, that it's not super awkward for too long.

Fortunately I don't have to really deal with them that often and well, they're the one doing the snubbing on their end. So, more effort on their part to avoid me if anything. It's not my fault in this situation. Don't get me wrong, not going to go out of my way to bother them or anything either, I figure, just let them be and hopefully in return, they'll leave me be. All I could ask for.

... I was actually drawing this and drinking some coffee to get myself by until bedtime. I was exhausted. (Kind of why it also took me a couple days to reply, hadn't slept well for other reasons but I'm good now.) Though, I do like the idea that it might be the tears/blood of my foes.
