Nice, but does he only have black on black eyes? Also, he seems a bit big for that cockpit. Reminds me of that time I testdrove a Kia Rio.

Hah! I approve of the point and humorous analogous story! But even in my sci-fi universe, a bigger cockpit would just mean a bigger target! His fighter is fast and nimble! Even if it is somewhat doomed...but, that'll be revealed later!
As for his eyes, yeah, they were a bit tricky; they are black, but I was having trouble with reflections, so they look a bit more like some kind of soulless void than glossy black bat's eyes...something I'll have to fix for next time, alas!
