I'm sorry I neglected to post this for so long... This was done after a paticular arc of "Dan and Mab's Furry Adventures" (http://www.missmab.com/)

For those unfamiliar, the little guy there is something of a mad scientist, only not really mad - he's actually rather cheerful and friendly most of the time. But at the time this was written, he was going through a really hard time.
He had recently come out of the closet and admitted to himself (and accidentally to several others) that he had a crush on one of the title characters. Later on, several other unfortunate things happened to him, and since DMFA is a comic where a punch-line is more-or-less expected in each strip, his very real pain seemed to be treated in an extremely trival manner.

Long story short, I empathized very much with the character and did up this little fanart/comic showing him retreating to his lab for a while simply to get away from everything. The other character shown, none other then the beautiful and helpful, but often absentminded and oblivious Miss Mab checks in to see how her little friend is doing, only to find that Jyrras doesn't want any help at the moment.
He just wants to be left alone.
