Well, in the terms of how people treat each other, looks shouldn't matter...but regardless of what you say or try to convince people, they will forever control. Partly because, people react to good looking folks for all of the basic of reasons: Mating. Good looks do tend to go hand in hand with good genetics.

looks have never matterd to me, be it my looks or the looks of others. i try to base how i like people on how they act and think not on what they wear or what they look like. sure looks count its a basic instict to go for the more attractive one but it shouldent make you judge someone it dosent matter whats on the outside but whats on the inside!(ugh that comment is overused but true)

Appearances, while having only some bearing on peoples reactions, really don't matter. I was told that I intimidated several people at work, but once I'd worked there for a while, they realized that how I dressed had nothing to do with how I carried myself.

In short, what's inside is far more important then what one appears to be, but what you appear to be can have far reaching consequences due to how shallow the world is. A balance needs to be struck between self expression and what the rest of the world sees.

But dun worry. We likes ye fer who you are - this, is where the net excells. You really only see one of two things online: A person themselves, or if they're being fake or decieving, what they want you to see. There's very little in between.

Looks matter only if you let them. As with so many things in life, why externalize? Why worry about what others think at all. Find your own bliss in those things that give it to you. If you love and are loved, everything else is just noise... ^__-

Looks will always count....no matter what people say or do it will invade our thoughts....it shouldnt but it does...
I have had long hair , short hair , bright red and even blue hair , and the reactions i recieved from people where varied to say the least.
Now how can a simple hair colour!..Hair colour affect people SO deeply..this is but a simple test.

Now imagine something beyond that , clothing , whatever....it was interesting , and i have tried my hardest since then to become neutral in my perceptions....

All i can say with certainty is that attractive people can be ugly inside..

Feh, I don't see anything wrong on people that speak their mind and dress what they like, let the bigots think what they want.
