Yes. they were friend in real life too. That's one reason All Dogs go to Heaven is one of my favorite films. Burt voices Charlie Barkin and Dom voices itchy. They had good chemistry.

Although I'll remember him for all those cartoon voices he provided for Don Bluth, I'll probably remember Dom more for all those TV shows ("Lotsa Luck"/"The Dean Martin Show") and movies ("The Twelve Chairs"/"Fatso"/"Hot Stuff") he appeared in. As his original character (magician) 'Dominick the Great' would say, "No applause, please... Save it for the end." He will sorely be missed. A very touching homage, Balto.

I liked him in Cannonball Run. Him and Burt Renyolds always cracked me up.

Such a charming and wonderful man, and a talented actor. He was one of the actors who had a signature style, yet it wasn't obnoxious like some modern-day guys like Robin Williams, Chris Rock, et al.

yeah I agree he was a true funny man. He never had to resorst to crudeness or vulgarity to get a laugh. He was oldschool. He's gonna be missed for sure.
