White Sun Communication Field Primer Series for my own worldbuilding project and hope to make a format to get wouldbulding related works out quicker. This one for the opposite major clan for the Century Swords Empire. drafting on helmet designs.

Image: Line Infantry of the Thelahan Clan (Race: Rük) . better known as the "Smoke Fighters" for their heavy use of smokescreen in combat to get into close combat and deny the enemy the view to fight at distance in an arena of pale and slate smoke shrouds.

Their distinctive blocky armour known as "Gunplate" is unique to the Rük as it is common on medium and heavier classes of armour. these blocks can easily stop and deflect enemy ballistic attacks. though bulky in mass, these blocks are very lightweight and offers a very favorable to ballistic protection ratio. however its bulk is what prevents its use from races shorter then the 8ft Rük.
This clan's armour possses a distinctive cowl-helmet with a cyclopic eyepiece as well a small cluster of peripheral optics. this brutal design gets their helmet the nickname name "Pain Train".

Weapons:
Thelahan Manufacture Assembly 32 Heavy Assault Rifle

A weapon designed to be a close combat weapon as much as it is a rifle, the A33HAR is unusual as a service rifle class weapon built on a durable metal frame holding a bayonet and mounting a side loading magazine, this weapon is clearly designed to withstand being used as a bayonet and club with its simple construction and durable but heavy materials used within. its side loaded magazine holds 45 rounds of Assault class rifle bullets. its brutal heavy bayonet is mounted on the durable frame "housing" around the rifle itself rather then being mounted directly on the gun. the frame also acts as a cage to protect the barrel from impact from a stabbing motion. also it lacks a conventional stock for a very short rear handle on the rear of the weapons "cage" frame that is used to assist in using the weapon's heavy bayonet

Smoke Grenades: this clan relies highly on smoke weapons and dischargers to hide their movements and get in closer where the Smoke Fighters are at their best and most viscous. this clan has many such doctrines around their use and are well trained to navigate in smoke as well as their helmets possessing equipment needed to navigate the shrouds.

Vehicles:
Thelahan Manufacture CAV 19 Assault Armoured Personnel Carrier "Providence" (weight group: large heavy)
A large, overbearing Assault APC ). this heavily armoured APC posses a powerful miniature fusion drive in its heavily protected rear compartment and an attack ramp on the front to easily dispense troops in front of the enemy. its incredibly durable metal hide can whistand several anti-armour weapons before being immobilized while still protecting the violent cargo within. using 4 independently articulated track sets for movement this massive fortress of a vehicle can navigate even harsh terrain while maintaining incredible speed which belies its large size. its equipped with many smoke discharges and a simple turret with twin light autocannons for defense as well as a set of automated anti-missile point defense guns.
