I find it hard to color stuff of my own character for lots of reasons. I prefer to make other people happy, that is a big one, but I also find it slightly more lonely. When I draw someone else, there is interaction in checking I'm getting details right, which I obviously don't have to do for Peter

This picture gave me lots of trouble, I was trying to do some sort of front facing lighting, with subtle shadows around all edges, but it became obvious my skill level isn't really up to task for that yet. I finished most of the drawing, and just started over. What I ended up with still looks silly to me in some places, but it's better than what I started with!
