Ok, so this was an idea I've got. It's a combination of me really wanting to do a kickass costume for halloween this year, and the fact that I've always wanted my own suit of samurai armor.

So...with that in mind, I said why not make a demon/zombie samurai?

So I was thinking of ideas, and I really want to give it a shot. So this is the full concept that I'd like to do. A blood soaked evil samurai, complete with actually glowing eyes, a big beastly Kanabo, and chains added for creepy sounds when I move. I'm still working out a design for the mask though.

I know how I'm going to go about making the armor (well, most of it). But a few of the props might have to wait, depending on money and time.

I'd like to really crunch down and try and get this costume done in a week (a bit short, but given I have so much free time, I think I can manage) I mainly want it done so soon because I want to try out for a haunted house this year. For a long time I've always wanted to be an actor in one, or just a roaming one.

So my hopes is that I can get this finished up quickly, and have enough time to audition/interview for haunted houses with it. (I'd love to land a gig as an actor at Fright Dome...so hopefully)

It's a shame I didn't think about this weeks ago....


So yeah....my main thing I'm concerned about...is if it'd be scary....I'd like to think so...but I dunno. What do you guys think? Would you be scared if this guy came after you with a blood soaked sword?
