It never stops hurting, it can never leave the mind. why would anybody demolish 2 towers, 1 building, and damage the pentagon, that is the queestion. my beliefs are that no person would chose to go through these actions without purpose. is a nation on the other side of the world realy worth eliminating 25000+ people (9/11 + the afghan war ). If now than why? thats the question.
I'm sorry you lost people who meant something to you. I hope they rest easy.

yeah, that day was horrible. i would have liked to say: "i hope nothing like that will happen again." but we all know that it could happen -_- (i'm sorry, if this made you feel even more bad about it. i was just stating a fact -_-).
i wish you good luck today and don't feel to bad about it, okay? there's nothing we can do about it anymore. all we can do is prevent it from happening again. -_-

I may have only been a teenager when it happened but I knew our lives would all change because of it. Political beliefs aside, the impact of this event is felt by everyone. No one deserves to perish because of the views of their Government. My only hope is that from this tragety, can come the understanding that human life should be the most valued asset in the world, and that one day a global peace will insure that no one will even again perish because of ones principles.
Lest we forget.
Lest we forget.
I was actually in high school when it happened....well, continuation school, to be precise. You know what happened? It was put on for us. Then shut off before the second plane hit. Apparently the school board decided it was "Inappropriate" to watch history in the making.
*Shakes his head* For me, the day will always be remembered, but with less impact then it should have. It annoys me to no end. Those who fought valiantly against the evils which were portrayed that day. And those who's lives were ended during that moment...
They say that there are no more heroes in this world. I believe otherwise, as is evident by the individuals who portrayed the very image of heroism this day.
Let us take a moment of silence for those who were lost. The lives who were taken so that others may live...

I was across the country, on the west coast in a middle class, when our teacher got a message to turn on the news...
I wasn't aware of what was happening until I saw replayed footage of that horrible, horrible event... and then later saw the second plane hit. I will never forget that day.
I don't know if you knew anyone who was caught in this awful tragedy, but any way you put it I am tearing up as I type this message and look at the submission. I just want to say that I feel for you as everyone does and to thank you for the tribute. Stay strong... for them.

That's a sweet picture, it does a great job showing the pure emotion in the scene. I can still remember feeling shocked and worried back then while watching the events on tv, but for the people who were actually in the city it must have been a million times worse.
People will always remember what happened that day, the many people who lost their lives, and the people who fought to save as many lives as possible.

I'm faving this because it is a wonderful piece of art heh. I was watching t.v. that morning and saw it happen...really sucks. And it's still kinda scary. Not maybe 3 months before that I was in there... One of my family was in that building and didn't make it out alive heh. Forever in our hearts indeed. I agree completely.
Never saw this till I came across it recently on a friend's page.
Reny...
I don't think anything will take away the pain. But if there's any good to come out of this at all, it's that it teaches you just how fragile life is, and how much it should be cherished...
My deepest condolences to you, dude...
