" One warning king." the knight grunted as they began their walk " Do not leave the light." he held up a staff illuminating the chilling air, pulsing ever so gently and guiding them. " Never leave the light. Or you will never see it once more." The kingdom's trees grew more deformed as they went deeper into the cavernous woods. Branches no longer had resembled what they once were, little wooden edges has became thin claws out stretching out towards them. Torano just knew it. He could feel it against his wishes. " Yes king. Can you not see it? The Uba in the air. They have infested the land and it's trees. They have taken the sun even when it is day. For here..it is always night." The branches twisted and snapped, reaching close to the knight and king in vain as the light of the staff casted them off silently. " Pay not any attention king. There is much greater danger elsewhere than the mere forest of the Uba." the path had grown deliriously dissolved and mishapen. The forest was truly alive in the dark and watching them every second, writhing, wanting the two wanderers of it's land. Torano would hope this journey be over soon.
