This will come up in part three of the story, but....
This ship is known as The Black Orchid, captained by Trinity Gensaniti.
The Black Orchid is a one of a kind light cruiser. It's shields and armor are strongest towards the front and sides. However, the power core is mostly exposed, but when the shield is active, it is near impossible to penetrate along the exposed parts of the core.
It has six standard propulsion engines, capable of faster than light travel (for quick travel within a solar system), and a compressed space matrix for making jumps out of the range of the FTL drive.
The armament consists of seven energy accelerator cannons (small).
There are sixteen escape pods, in case of emergency. There are three docking doors, and two hanger bay doors.
The hanger houses two multi-purpose shuttles, two combat mechs, and one multi purpose vehicle.
The crew consists of fifty highly trained personnel. It also houses twenty soldiers for use in ground combat and boarding parties.
The ship itself is 175M long, and 35M wide.
