Using the teaser trailer that is released at the Bethesda show at E3 2018, we can only guess the location of where ES6 is going to set out at. But all we know Is it is finally officially confirmed that its in the making by Bethesda. So this is my idea of what could be the map location of Elder Scrolls 6.

It's probably not the "safest" option, but I think they could make a decent game from it. I was skeptical Skyrim could be an interesting location until I actually saw that game after all. (Elseweyr would be my second choice as it would have a lot of variety of climates.)
At any rate I loved Oblivion and Skyrim and think whatever they come up with should make for a decent game.

To be fair Oblivion came out in 2006 and was set in a part of Tamriel with less variety in the landscape (and I hated closing Oblivion gates). But I think it still holds up well. I like how Skyrim incorporated a simple classless, skill-based system (and I hated Oblivion era lockpicking lol). Best virtue of Oblvion over Skyrim to me is it made stealth feel more challenging; in Skyrim stealth is so OP that it removes most of the challenge. I do like that there's value to underwater exploration in Skyrim (something Argonians have an advantage in, since they can breathe underwater indefinitely) and wish there was more to it.
I found ESO very disappointing; perhaps if it came out in 2007 I'd think better of it, but it felt so lacking compared to Skyrim, there's no real open world and everything felt so linear. I didn't play it long before I just got bored of it. Still, ESO had great character creation (I love the variety you can give to body types especially) and hope Bethesda incorporates that into ES6.
