I'm so happy you liked it! The texture of the paper kinda caught me by surprise, so it's not as smooth as I'd really like. But I'm happy with the furisode, as well as the markings on her face and hands. Hair could have been better, but I'm really still learning hair.

I figure this is a portrait she was required to do by her family, and she did it to keep up the appearance of the good daughter.

I think the mane looks good! As for the context, yes, she would be expected to do something demure and traditional like this once in a while...

Thanks! I'm not entirely pleased with how it came out, but most of it turned out well. The lips bother me terribly, and the background looks rushed, I should have taken more care on it. But there are parts I like, such as the furisode she's wearing, and her right eye. The hands turned out pretty well too, compared to my usual. So it evens out.
