Paul Varian grumbled.
He had been hired by a museum to keep an eye on a warehouse as its contents were transferred back to the museum (its renovation just ended).
And there he was, alone in this warehouse, looking if something hadn't been forgotten.
As far as jobs went, he had rarely known more boring.
Until he saw something laying in a corner.
A statue?
It was indeed a small statue, representing a very muscular silhouette.
Paul crouched to try and take it so he'd bring it back to the museum, but he barely touched it that it broke in pieces.
And he yelped, feeling like a burst of static electricity in his fingers.
"Ow!"
The feeling had spread out from his hand, growing weaker as it had, almost as if something had been sinking into his body.
He tugged at his tie, almost feeling as if it was too tight around his neck.
A loud rip caught his attention. He looked down and stared. His shirt had torn and was stretched painfully tightly over his chest, belly and arms!
The gorilla rose back up, feeling just how tight his pants had become.
He groaned as his shoes began to cramp horribly his feet.
As he got them off, he looked down at them and blinked in surprise. They looked like they'd fit a kid, now.
Then, his world snapped into focus. As he watched, the shoes in his hands seem to get smaller.
His eyes widening, Paul quickly glanced around the warehouse. Not just the shoes... Everything seemed smaller!
I'm... I'm growing?!
