Had to say goodbye to my good friend yesterday. We tried everything we could. Finally I had to accept that ending his suffering before it got worse was the best thing to do. Of course knowing that doesn't make the sadness go away, so me and sadness are just going to spend some time together, I guess. And that's okay.
