Sonderjen's Style Game - Flinters
This... was surprisingly harder than I thought it would be. Drawing in the style of someone else enough to be recognizable yet not insulting or parodying them is tricky.
1. Me!
2. Peechees were made for this.
3.
MellenCollie They had a cute lil' roo pic and... well, not that far off what I draw now.
4. Ed... Edd... and ... *shudder* Eddie. I just cannot wrap my head around this. Here I look like I'm having a seizure of bad taste. Eeeeet huuuuurtz!
5. Hanna Barbera of the 60's is my fav. Very very rarely would I ever see him, but sometimes the local TV station would show Quick Draw McGraw.
6. Random person on the front page only had one piece of art.

Fantastic! Drawing in different styles is always the hardest. Its a great way to break out of a bad mold people put them selves in. I dont think I can do this meme cause I would feel bad about insulting someone elses style *I notice 4 *which is obvious* and 6 is always pretty jeering :P*
I'm trying to remember if Hanna Barbera ever had a kangaroo character. I'm not dredging any up from my memory, other than maybe one appearing on the Kwicky Koala show...but if so, they weren't a regular character. Warner Bros. had Hoppy (the one Sylvester was always mistaking for a big mouse), and of course Disney had Kanga and Roo from the Winnie the Pooh series. I think kangaroos showed up in The Rescuers Down Under, too, but were more supporting bit characters.
Wait a minute...I think HB did a Tom & Jerry bit playing off the Warner Hoppy/Sylvester thing, with Jerry befriending a kangaroo. A boxing kangaroo, if I'm not mistaken...heh heh. But again, it was a one shot. They never had a recurring kangaroo character.
