'S'funny. Bob Hope looked so young in this one. I did the math, and the guy was 38 when they filmed it. That's still pretty young... for a guy who would live to be 100!
Bing Crosby was only about three weeks older than Bob Hope, but he burned out at the age of 74. He already looked like an old guy in '42.
