Meet the poster child for my original species, Bloombacks!

Bloombacks are hatched from special pearls that are formed from the first dream a child ever dreams.
They are initially born with only two small pearls on their backs, and a flower bud. It is only when they reach adulthood that the bud on their back blooms into a flower, and their insect-like wings grow in.
Their design is usually based around the flower they carry on their backs.
This one is based off of a Peony Rose.
