And besides which; there's a theory, that explains a LOT...it's a reasonable one, but the problem is for many, "would they accept the truth"?

The theory states, that guys like Mario & other beloved characters, are actually ACTORS! (At least in one timeline.)
WHY else would hero characters, like Mario, Luigi, and Peach, compete in things, like golf, tennis, and kart racing, with guys, like Bowser and King Boo, now and then?
This would explain why a lot of the story, doesn't add up; it's not only a reflection, of different versions of the story, but it also would explain a lot of gaping plot holes, now and then.
This would explain there, being a stage backdrop, in the "Paper Mario" series, as well as "Super Mario Bros. 3".
And WHY else, would Mario be a villain, within "Donkey Kong Jr.", when in a lot of other timelines, that he ISN'T a villain?
Also, based on the science of bullet bills, that could explain, compared to REAL LIFE science, that they're too slow, to actually HURT Mario; it would make sense, for them to be either an acting prop, or actors, themselves.
As for other timelines, where a lot of plot holes don't make sense, I believe Nintendo meant some details, to be left to our imagination. Such as, "Who is Bowser Jr.'s biological mother?", and "What is Mario's relations, to others, such as Pauline & Peach?"
These video games, including related game franchises, such as the "Wario", "Yoshi", and "Donkey Kong" games, are actually related.
That's the basic idea, anyway!
