This is basically a rant picture. I was flipping through catagories on ON Demand and I came across movie premiers that come out this year and next. And I found a total of two vampire ones, one werewolf (They're redoing "The Wolfman" Which looks very stupid *My opinion*) and one zombie one.
Before, I was all for vampires. They were my favorite. Now their down on my list because they got way too popular in such a short time. And now the movies all seem the same. I have either seen something similar or I have read something similar somewhere. The movie I saw the trailer to was called Daybreaker, and basically was about an entire population of vampires and only a few humans surviving (sound familiar *cough*IAmLegend *cough*) And with the few humans, the vampires harvest them for blood (already read it in a 30 days of night book).
Okay, this is just my opinion, if the movie sounds cool, then go see it, I'm not going to stop you. I just wish someone would pick another mythological beast. They're plenty more.
Anyway, there's the method of my madness. Now the madness is that I believe that a vampire should at least have a bit of insanity, be it looking creepy, or screwed up mentally. I think that makes a good vampire. They should NOT be completely civilized, that just makes for a boring vampire.
