Hoeru is one of my One Piece OCs from the Mink Tribe.

Hoeru is a Timber Wolf Mink that lives in Right Belly Forest, where Nekomamushi and the other nocturnal Minks reside. She is currently mourning the devastating loss of her family- a husband and daughter, Gyouko, respectively. Her husband served Nekomamushi as a member of his army, and when Jack invaded, he did his best to protect Hoeru and his daughter, but alas, he was killed when Jack used the gas bomb, Koro, on Zou. As for Gyouko, one of Jack's men caught her and tried to interrogate on the whereabouts of Raizou, but when he got the same answer the other Minks gave, she was killed on the spot as an example to the Minks.

Hoeru did not escape uninjured herself, either. When she tried fight the Beast Pirates in order to avenge her daughter, she was stabbed in the back by a spear and then subjected to torture, thus leaving her with severe scars, both physical and emotional.

Because of this, Hoeru has grown reclusive, which worries Wanda because she is her best friend and used to babysit Gyouko for her.

However, this might change when Aika, along with Luffy and his group, arrive on Zou.
