[OLD] "Makin' a Blanket!" - Page 2
And here's a slightly old 2 part sequence that I mostly inked a while back and decided to finish now, featuring the return of a few familar characters! I actually don't have a name for the wolf just yet, but I'm definitely open to suggestions, as he'll be one of the new "TF regulars" appearing in my gallery along with Lynwood from now on. ^_^

Do you think Birch would be a good name for your wolf? Is he still alive after being turned into a blanket, with his brain, practically dead, or is he in a highly unconscious state? If his captors were to turn him back to normal somehow, how would he be affected by this mentally?
Hmm, that's a nice name, but I'll have to consider all my options first. I want to make sure I pick a name that'll I'll love seeing f
And yep, as a toon he's very much alive and conscious, just a bit helpless at the moment. Toon physiology is far, far different from that of a human's, so the type of things that would harm or cripple a human will almost never cause any type of permanent damage to a toon.
Also, in my toon world, if you leave them alone long enough, toons will always return to normal on their own, similar to how a normal human body is automatically programmed to repair itself without any conscious effort or mental command from the injured person. Of course, just like in cartoons, there are toony ways of quickly returning a person to their normal state as well, but even without that help, they'll still eventually recover.
And when it comes to the mental implications of toony TFs, a rule of thumb that I always keep in mind is, "is this the type of character who would be accustomed to this type of event/lifestyle on a regular basis?" With that in mind, if the character was born a toon and has very likely grown up in a world where flattenings like this are commonplace, then to him it would just be business as usual.
