Haha.. if any of you have glasses, I know you can remember this moment that Niara is experiencing. I was in fifth grade, and I remember looking up at the trees and saying "there... are separate leaves up there". It opens up a whole new world.
That aside, I have to say... I am remarkably proud of this piece. O.o No references were used.. well, minus my glasses, which are the model for Niara's. ^^ I know the paw looks kinda wonky, but I don't even care, I'm so happy I'm done. XD
Edit: Re-uploaded the file since the original png had a bad cutout effect. ;_; Please F5 if the image has a clear background.

And yes. It is literally like a completely different world, once you are able to see. :3 You never realized what you were missing until you saw it all, with actual details!

Also.. yeah, I totally understand. I'm legally blind now, and putting on my glasses every day is amazing every time, still. Especially when you can't find your glasses at first in the morning and you freak out cause you can't see, it makes you so glad you have them once you find them.
