With Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom coming soon, I figured I'd finally get this piece actually finished and uploaded. This piece was inspired when I saw a pose done by the beautiful birthday29, and I immediately set out to draw something in the pose. At first it was gonna just be some form of Raptor, but I then decided "Why not the Dilophosaurus?", and after some thought, decided on the Jurassic Park version (with the Frill), and went from there. After all, as the announcer said, it is a beautiful, but deadly, member of Jurassic Park.
The pic here shows a Saurian Gal getting in out of a thunderstorm. While for most people, getting rained on while at the pool isn't of much concern, I can imagine getting suddenly introduced to hundreds of thousands of volts of electricity probably isn't at the top of anyones list. Fortunately for Saurians, there's plenty of heat lamps in huts like these. They're not cold-blooded, but the warmth on their skin certainly feels nice.
This image took months of tinkering to really get to this stage, but, this is more an exception then the rule.
