Yep they like to pee on people.

They do but only because they don't like being picked up much. Probably reminds them of flying..toads don't like flying..they are mostly ground based.

Cane toads have taken over Australia so if you are ever in Oz for a bit you can check them out. I must say I'm intrigued by the idea of a plague of toads XD

I used to chase toads when I was little.. Every time I picked them up they would pee all over me though x_x But I still love them!.....Except for the cane toad.. I mean I love them.. >.> But I don't love how fast they take over. *Nod*

Yeah I had a pet cane toad once. Bummer they are so prolific because I think giant toads are cool... giant toads trying to take over the world..well not so cool. :/
I've been peed on a lot by toads... all our local toads tho were small.

Thank you! :D I really miss being able to go out and play with the toads in the garden. It was one of my favorite things! A lot of my garden designs made heavy use of toad friendly hiding places and such. Now I live across the country and there are virtually no wild toads here. :P

aw thats gotta suck i would miss them so much. ive been living in the city where they wouldnt come around but recently i left to live with family and i hear theres alot out when the weathers nice sooo i cant wait for winter to end.

You should make some toad houses in the garden if that's a possibility.

:O there is a garden here so ill definately make housing for my lil pudgey friends.

Yay! I had luck with overturned flower pots with holes broken in the sides as well as bricks piled up as to make nooks for them. The net is full of neat pics and good ideas for toad homes too.

come warm weather my aunt will be asking me why all the flowerpots are upside down in the garden XD

TOADZ! I used to catch the ones that fell into my window wells when I was a kid. I had this one named Blop Blop that only had three legs, and a Huge one named Grandpa Puff Up Toad that would eat out of my hand. I love the teeny tiny baby ones the most!

I've found three legged toads before. It makes you wonder what epic toad battles they went through to get such an injury.

I miss the toads. We lived in the woods and left our porchlight on part of the night. The toads would gather to get the bug collection we made for them. The treefrogs would too. I really miss being surrounded by living things like that.
