I can't be the only one who drew their protagonist character having the crap beaten out of them have I?

Playing the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection and the twelve games on there is a great nostalgia trip. It's among the first times I played the first two Street Fighter III games. 3rd Strike I have played many times before; but not New Generation or Double Impact.
3rd Strike is one of Street Fighter series' best games ever; the previous two don't even compare. But in terms of artwork; they really kicked ass in the art department. In particular the defeat screens. Whether you won or lost; the defeat screens showed the winner looking down at their defeated opponent.
Dunno why they got rid of those; maybe it hurt people's feel feels in the arcades back then if they saw how badly they lost.

I know for this pic I toned down the nastiness by not using Mai Ling's win quote against Sarah Brendhart.

But Mai Ling's haughty pose indicates she is both disappointed and ashamed of Sarah. Poor Sarah meanwhile recovers on the ground looking pitifully up at Mai.
No in seriousness; Mai Ling could totally kick Sarah's ass. But I DO plan on doing another pic where Sarah beats Mai and we see Mai on the ground bitterly accepting defeat.
