When you go to the store, you are more than likely going for essentials you need such as toilet paper, bread, water or whatever you deemed as essentials. Knowing Amber's love for junk food and especially candy, Rose makes sure to tell her... "Essentials ONLY". Since Amber had replied with an "OK" she was confident there wouldn't be any problems and thus they split up to make their shopping easier.
