I'm gearing up for a Kickstarter featuring these guys so I'm doing right by them and submitting their portraits individually.
I just accepted I like booze, and have been wanting to do more art featuring those themes. For beer, I decided to celebrate it with a series of dragons that reflect the personalities of the beer (or beer drinkers) they're featured with. IPA is a British brew, so I used classical Saint George and the Dragon illustrations as inspiration on design.
This is my big foray back into watercolor as well, as I am moving toward more long-lasting mediums and new challenges when working on pieces.
