Diego is determined that he's related to the original owner of the ranch, a gray-blue coyote with some rather...interesting ideals. He's not actually a coyote, but rather a mixed breed whose family came over from Australia when he was very young. After seeing a picture of the founder of the ranch however, he abandoned his true heritage, changed his name and got a job working with the cattle.

Unfortunately, Diego is a firm believer that the ranch, and most land in general, belongs solely to the carnivores, and refuses to even acknowledge the other staff. If it wasn't for his hard work in the off season, Glenda would have given him the boot the year he started.
