This was made... A little over a year ago. The sculpture is made of isomalt, and it's one of the only pics I have left of it. I made this sculpture for my oldest brother's wedding, as a centerpiece. It turned out magnificently, considering that was my first year with any experience sculpting sugar. I had to remake the center and top ball, after I accidentally broke them, but the top looked better with the remade ball, and I was able to hide the flaws in the center well enough.
