The light of the heron moon bathed the traveler. The hallowed moonlight drove back the undead that circled him. With a shudder, great wings stretched out from behind, with limbs like tracery, and membrane nearly translucent.
His body became cloaked in powerful scales, the human frame twisting and strengthening into something more. As the moon’s power surged within him, his human fear was forgotten, driven away by the dragons zeal to destroy the unholy minions before him.
With a great roar, and flap of mighty wings, the moonveil bore down on it’s favored prey.
