i have wanted to mess with the idea of a taur suit.
a commission would justify the time for me to experiemnt with the idea
ya know what i thought would be an interesting take on a taur suit? one in a wheelchair. i would make something that looks like a cross between a wooden cart and a modern day push around wheel chair and have the back end of the horse sitting in it. that would eliminate the back legs moving issue as well as the support issue. it would just wheel around behind you with your legs being the front legs of the horse half.

Yeah, it's interesting, but paraplegia isn't really my cup of tea......
What I would have to do is come up with a design that would create a fairly realistic-looking hind leg gait: probably limited to a walk, so I would have to build in some sort of lag in the action. Of course, the human leg is incapable of bending quite like a horse's foreleg, but the difference can be minimized with practice.
As for engineering, I've toyed with a few sketches, but never anything satisfactory..... 7@=e
