Another upload. Another page. A Thursday upload! (Although I'll probably come back and fix up this page a tad later.) Free request still on the table from page 108, same as I've said before.

Me: "A lot of these pages are just Akire explaining stuff.."
Aki: "Yeah, what's with that?"
Me: "Gotta give some background / explanation for what's going on, especially regarding magic. There are rules and junk."
Aki: "Meh."
Me: "Although I must say, even though it's not known in the comic universe a pup's preferred magic IS kind of influenced and passed down by the parents."
Aki: "Is it? Or did you just decide that for some sort of plot point in the comic?"
Me: "Well, I don't want to get to into it here since I'll wind up explaining the whole Stone thing at some point; but, they hold the Stone, the power flows through them and they direct it (generally) out of their pawz, right?
Aki: "Yeah, for the most part."
Me: "That's because the power of the Stone sort of "flows" with the veins and arteries as it travels through them, just think of it moving along with the blood. That's why it's easiest to have the power come out of the pawz (and footsies), since it's where a lot of them are and the skin is thinner; plus the fingers act as good narrow passages for the power to come out if you can think of it that way."
Aki: "Now you're the one going on a rant explaining things."
Me: "Anyways, my point for all that is that you can think of it as if the Stone user's blood gets attuned to certain elements and this gets passed through birth (think of it like a blood type.) Although, just because one might be more in tune with a certain element, everyone is still free to train and learn whichever that they themselves want to learn; but this can sort of explain why it may be easier for some to learn certain elements or why someone may be more drawn towards a particular element. So as she said, Red Wolves existing mainly on an island means that they are normally using more Water magic and this causes non water specializing Red wolves to be more of an exception than the norm; because most Red Wolves are naturally drawn towards using Water magic. Anyways enough with the useless trivia.."
Aki: "Gods, that's a lot of 'trivia'. You'd think it's something you actually sat down and thought about for a long while."
Me: "Kinda did years ago when trying to figure out certain things regarding the magic of the world. It may not be a fully logical explanation but woof, it's magic."
Aki: "Well, get to working on the next page now."
Me: "I will."
