You know on the face of it, it may seem like a bad idea to help them. Something is fishy about it of course.
BUT.
Maybe they can use the trip there to both scout the environment and possibly try to make allies. Because correct me if i am wrong, this is set about the time in history when smaller villages become city states and larger right? About 3,000 bce?
