Pride is a cat, because cats are somewhat arrogant... Purple is a color of royalty and luxury, so it wears an expensive purple suit. All the other beings seem pathetic and deformed to it, and it stands above them, although it is actually a part of them because prideful people are nothing without the ''lower class''.

I wanted to do the seven sins for a long time now, as unoriginal as it may be, and since I'm currently watching Full Metal Alchemist I've been only encouraged and inspired to do so... Next up is probably greed...
