I would say both are now full fledged feral cougars. Why should Eliza not get cougar cubs. For Eliza it is a real improvement in her life. She now lives in a safe environment, has food, full medical care, a loving partner. The only thing she has given up for this is her humanity.
Eliza and Noah now have the body of a cougar, both have kept their human minds and personalities, supplemented with the instincts, mind and personality of the cougar.
