He actually had a crush on Poppy before she started binge-eating from nervousness, saying she was cute before, but now finds her pudginess even cuter. Of course, he also loves her for her sweet personality and ever since they started dating, she has become more confident than she used to be when she was skinnier. Often, he'll either buy her food or cook meals for her just to feed her, which she doesn't mind. She actually encourages it.

Just whatever you do, don't attempt to or even think about flirting with his girl while he's around...or threaten her, for that matter.
