Unlicensed Obi
About 6-7 months ago I did a poll on DeviantArt about drawing my Pokemon OCs as not-Pokemon. Well I'm finally doing it, starting with Obi of course XD One quick thing about these forms, they ARE canon, their Pokemon forms are the non-canon ones. Sorry for ruining your hopes and dreams. XD Feel free to keep loving him as a Lucario though.
Here we have Obi's canon, non-Pokemon form complete with a short bio.
One reason why I decided to do this that I have so many ideas for my OCs but all of them demand them to not be licensed characters. I'd rather avoid that almighty Nintendo ban-hammer XD

I honestly find this reboot of Obi rather refreshing! I've actually been thinking about coming up with an original design for Neon. I was even thinking about something mixed with an African Wild dog. But, since African wild dogs are small and neon's....well, big... I'll need to come up with an animal that can substitute for his size.
non-copyright transmutations are kind of cool, some pretty popular franchises have had to receive some similar makeovers to avoid being crushed underfoot by lawyers and their ever-present mercenary eyes (can't fully blame them, franchises have to fight/license everything or risk a "generic" label)
