It happened too fast! The inscribed circles spiked with arcane energy and crumbled away, water taking place where ground had once been. Sound dimmed from the world, cutting off a yelp as she was pulled downward and into... somewhere.
Her amulet was too slow to respond, and it seemed the circle was doing more than whisking her away to some other place. This was no prank, and panic started to hammer its way through her veins...
