Not long after Celestus defeats the Triumvirate, Maeyl becomes Grandmaster.
As his first order of business he travels to Mount Arramore to swear his allegiance to Celestus; however, shortly after he leaves Celestus falls ill. A rather strange occurrence as dragons normally don't get sick.
The sickness hits her hard eventually taking her life. As a final act, Celestus' bones are thrown into the mountain lake and grant the waters a blessing of purity. From that day forth the river Arramore pours out the purest water in all of Ephalon.
Celestus' death also signifies the end of the Third Era.
