I tend to have mixed feelings about this, sometimes it's hard to feel ‘pride’. Most often it hurts, but then, despite all the negative feelings, being trans have shaped the person who I am today. I have experiences and the sensitivity I probably wouldn't have as a cis person, at least not as easily.

At rock bottom I feel terrible, but at my best I feel hopeful things will get better, and I wish to help everyone else in my reach. It's okay to be proud of overcoming everything so far, things will get better.
