I figured it'd be a bit too confusing taken out of the context of the myth, which is from the Yuma (who are in themselves a smaller subdivision of Quechan Native Americans; so it's a rather obscure mythos xD)

wow that's very laudable to hear! I've always deeply admired and been fascinated by so many aspects of various Native American cultures and traditions; it's horrendously underrepresented (and even when it's featured, it's so condensed and typecasts 500+ tribes into singular, one dimensional elements) So I'm very glad it was able to resonate with you C:
