WTF Did you just say about me, you little...

Just a relatively quick practice drawing of Razor being, well, himself and drunkenly threatening some poor bystander who probably did nothing wrong. Whether he did anything wrong or not is of little consequence though and he probably has about 3 seconds left to issue a grovelling apology before he gets bottled in the head. Fortunately, Murk and the others have gotten used to recognising the warning signs of Razor becoming drunk enough to go looking for fights with random people and are pretty good at intervening with suitable distractions before anyone gets seriously injured. :P
This was a sketch I did to try and figure out how to lineart fur properly. Thanks to reforger and steinwill's inputs, I think I did a pretty good job. I made the painful decision to leave this as flat colours too, which is something I've almost never been able to bear doing. The idea that I can leave a picture half-finished has always been alien to me haha
I figure it might go on a reference sheet for Razor later, but I have more stuff I want to get onto than painstakingly shading this.
Something I've found somewhat fun with Razor is that although he has a lot of strength, he's the first overweight character I have. Drawing deliberate imperfection is a lot harder than drawing ideal perfection. My strategy has been to sketch him as if he were fit and muscled and then apply the fat to his form. I think this is a realistic and logical approach.
Also, without making any promises, if I start doing requests/trades/commissions, this is the sort of thing I'd like to offer. I think it looks good, but it didn't take me forever.

Razor doesn't care though, he loves a good fight and while this poor bugger's a bit smaller than he is, he won't shy from picking fights with guys bigger than him either.
