Those look like a somewhat less horrendous version of what in Australia are called 'spitfire grubs'. Not only are these visually unpleasant, but 'the larvae will raise their head and eject a strong-smelling yellow-green liquid consisting predominantly of eucalyptus oil', which makes them even more charming.

Seriously that sounds like some DOOM mini monsters that would like prob swarm you and just really be annoying and painful but wow googled them, regret it a bit, def reminds me of these guys, but only in that they are creepy little fuckers, cool as fuck but wow, no bare feet happening is Australia im sure, youd just lose them with natural landmines laying all over there place like those hellspawns
