Ain’ y’all lucky, getting two in a single night! Ekans and Arbok are absolute cuties in my book though I’ve never used them in a playthrough… I loved Jessie’s Ekans in the anime so much I was almost disappointed when it evolved, but I was super pleased to see it was still just as cool as its baby form.

For this one, I went with a color-scheme I’m super fond of with Ekans – cool greys and a bright mint. A LOT of snakes in real life are in bright colors or dull colors, and sometimes both. I figure Ekans would be one that likes to do both in the shiny colors and I hated it when shiny Arbok lost it’s blue mouth in later generations. So both these lil guys have bright mouths in contrast to their bodies.

Arbok is more than a little influenced by Persona 5′s striking Black-White-Red colors, though the gold is there as a nice little bring-it-all-together touch that I’d hope makes it look less Edgelord and more Dangerous Snake that it is.
