Huh? The things with me?

Oh, yeah, the little orb to my left is a device of my own making. Deployable Automated Response Turret, or DART for short. The bottom half has multiple prongs which attach to most surfaces with either a vice grip or magnetic cling. The upper half is free rotating platform with a laser gun installed, as well as a camera of course. Using my own programs, I can… uh I think it’s called paint targets with my targeting eyepiece and then these babies shred all the baddies.

As for the fine construct that's hovering next to me, that is SHADOW. Soul Hunter Assistance Drone: Omni Wanderer. Bit of a mouthful, but it’s a drone specially design by me to offer assistance with my benefactors and patrons. And SHADOW is one special drone; he’s able to crawl along the ground or fly through the air, and like my DARTs he can cling to walls and ceilings. And he can pass for a backpack if the need should arise… well if you don’t look too closely. I mean, he's made of solid metal after all so it kinda sticks out.

But, umm... oh! Of course, the best thing I’ve ever made is also my best friend. I think you’ve all met Minuet already, well I’m the one who made her… I mean, obviously that’s what I said to start this topic… umm. Ahem. Yeah, salvaged an old discarded droid body and I made up a whole DSL before too long… which is actually super illegal so maybe I shouldn’t brag about that.

Ummm, oh! And, I did ALL this stuff without any fancy education. Heh, yeah, bet you didn’t expect that huh? I never went to any professional school, I’ve gotten this far by trail, error… and admittedly going through a lot of books and vids to learn basics… but after that I totally ran with it. Ain’t nothing that tells you how to build the stuff I’ve made, and if you think this is the best I can do, oh you haven’t seen shit yet!

*ahem* As stated in her little bio, Clair here made Minuet (seen here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/23618925/ ) all so she could have a friend. Well originally she just wanted help around her apartment, but adding more and more eventually caused the repurposed bot to develop sentience.

Clair's main job aboard the Soul Hunter is to keep the ship functional, with a side job of helping Nyani work on the resident cyber. Clair also dabbles in just making shit just because. Seriously, she makes things just because she can or to see if she can. Though she isn't opposed to making things to meet a need. She does plenty of that when she joins the crew.

Hilariously Clair probably adds the most to the group without actually being a fighter. Unlike everyone else you've seen... Clair can NOT fight in the slightest. She has no idea how to use a gun, and her punches leave a lot to be desired. But she provided Minuet, who's a very capable battle droid. Nyani's gauntlets are also the brain child of the shipwright bovine. And as she says, she's only getting started.
