I took my time with these studies and was focused very heavily on the proportions, making loads of corrections and using the lines I put down as guidemarks to judge distance between other things. There was no undersketch, I was treating these like I was doing them with a pen and tried to do minimal erasing. I wasn't timing myself but I basically just worked the last 3 hours on these... so I'm guessing each one took around 30 minutes or so because I was very much trying to slow down and pay attention.

I'm going to try and make a bigger effort towards improving passively. I want to say something like I'll do a sketchbook page like this every day, but I think I'm going to try and say I'll do about 3 of these a week on different subjects. I feel a loooooot better after having drawn these. I've been feeling very stagnant for a while.
